The ASHA Fun Run is coming soon!

Fun Run: March 28 (during school)
Pledge Collection: Now through April 10

To submit your Fun Run donations, you can either:
  • use Community Pass, or
  • send a check to school (payable to ASHA). Please mark the envelope with student name, teacher, and FUN RUN PLEDGE & PAYMENT.
Please note that you can only submit one donation per child on Community Pass, but you can submit additional checks if needed.

During the Fun Run, students will run/walk around the course, completing as many laps as possible. Students ask family and friends to sponsor them with a per-lap or flat donation. It’s a great chance to support Amsterdam in a fun and healthy way!

Every student who turns in a donation will get an Amsterdam bracelet. For more class prizes, see below.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to fund many great ASHA programs. You can see the programs that still need funding (white portion of the image below). This year, we are organizing the Fun Run in-house, allowing 100% of the proceeds to go to Amsterdam!


Fun Run Class Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: Win a field trip or assembly designed for the class. Prize goes to the first class to collect and submit $5,000 in donations.
  • 2nd Prize: $100 toward year-end class party. Prize goes to the first 3 classes to collect and submit $3,500 in donations.
  • 3rd Prize: $100 Scholastic gift card for the class. Prize goes to the first 3 classes to collect and submit $2,000 in donations.
  • 4th Prize: Each student in the class receives a pretzel or an Amsterdam spirit wear item. Prizes goes to the first 2 classes to collect and submit $1,500 in donations.
  • 5th Prize: Each student in the class receives a Smencil. Prize goes to the first 5 classes to collect and submit $500 in donations.

Bonus Prizes:

  • All classes who submit at least $100 in donations by Tuesday, March 26 will earn a pajama day on Friday, March 29.
  • All classes with 100% participation will receive 20 extra minutes of recess.

Thank you for all your contributions and volunteering efforts.  We appreciate all that you do for Amsterdam!
