About Us

ASHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit parent/teacher organization that enhances our school with class trips, teacher grants, assemblies, science fair, art appreciation, family activities, and more. ASHA makes all this happen with donated time and energy from Amsterdam families and friends. Thank you for supporting our students!

ASHA's mission is to promote a positive relationship between school and home, as well as to support educational programs, social development, and enrichment of the children in Amsterdam Elementary School. We believe that the team effort of a parent-teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children. Please consider reading the ASHA Bylaws.

Please contact ASHA with any questions or comments through this online form, or by leaving a note in the ASHA mailbox in the Main Office or sending a note with your child in an envelope marked ASHA.
