A Look at what we do

Every year ASHA helps the students start the year off by providing folders for grades K-1 and planners for grades 2-4.

ASHA will be providing all students with a year's subscription to Scholastic News.

An exciting event for students to see where ideas come from and how characters are brought to life.  Meant to inspire and bring enthusiasm to reading!

Provide teachers with access to extra funds needed to pilot new programs or buy special equipment (school supplies, materials, flexible seating and more). 

Whether an art project or a trivia night, (the list goes on!) these nights bring families together for a fun, relaxing night out.

Not only during Teacher Appreciation Week, we strive for opportunities thoughout the year to show gestures big and small of our appreciation towards the staff at Amsterdam.

Children love a party:)  Funds are provided for supplies (games, craft, snack etc.) needed for 3 in-class parties within the school year (Fall, Winter and End of year).

Educational presentations brought to the school that encourage positive school culture and reinforce lessons learned within the classrooms.
