ASHA is proud to offer distinct and engaging after-school enrichment programs for Amsterdam students in Fall 2025. Designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and physical activity, each specialized session will be held over a 6-week period. Limited spots are available!
1) Junior Golf (TGA) :
Mondays 10/6/2025 - 11/17/2025 (no class 10/20) | 1st-4th grade | $150 | 2:30-3:30pm
Our multiweek program is ideal for all players - from beginners to experienced junior golfers and is designed to refine skill, achieve success, promote discovery through play and provide a pathway to keep playing.
2) LEGO Robotics Club (Wize Academy) :
Tuesdays 10/7/2025 -11/18/2025 (no class 11/4) | 3rd & 4th grade | $195 | 2:30-3:30pm
This hands-on program introduces students to fundamental robotics concepts using LEGO Education Spike Essentials, covering core concepts of robotics, simple machines, sensors, and teaching students to code using icon based block programming.
3) Chess Club (Diplomat Chess) :
Wednesdays 10/8-11/19/25 (no class 11/5) | 1st-4th grade | $150 | 2:30-3:30pm
Improve your skills with Diplomat Chess! We've taught thousands of children from novice to expert, but the majority of our students are casual players looking to have fun and learn a new skill. Supplies provided.
4) No Bake Club (Junior Chef) :
Thursday 10/9/2025-11/20/2025 (no class 11/6) | 1st-4th grade | $150 | 2:30-3:30pm
Join us in a no-bake cooking program where kids can explore their creativity in the kitchen! This hands-on program encourages creativity, builds confidence, and makes learning fun - all without needing an oven.
5) Gadgets & Gizmos – LEGO Model Builds (Bricks 4 Kidz) :
Thursday 10/9/2025-11/20/2025 (no class 11/6) | 1st & 2nd grade | $150 | 2:30-3:30pm
Through hands on activities, students will build motorized models using LEGO bricks while learning about how everyday gadgets work. This engaging program fosters creativity, problem-solving skills, and team work in a fun and interactive STEM environment.
